This is an in-person program. Registration is required.

Life as a young adult in high school, first jobs, or university is busy enough already. Sometimes it’s a challenge to remember to eat, let alone plan and cook a healthy meal! By attending this program, you will learn how to meal plan in a way that works for you, how to stretch a budget at the grocery store, and take home some recipes that don’t require advanced cooking skills, expensive ingredients, or hours in the kitchen. Healthy eating doesn’t have to be boring, time consuming, or expensive, and the benefits of eating well will benefit you for years to come. Snacks will be provided.

About the Presenter: Sarah Hameluck, RD received a Bachelor of Science from the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition at the University of Saskatchewan in 2023. Sarah is a Registered Dietitian with the Saskatchewan College of Dietitians and a member of Dietitians of Canada. She currently works at the Regina Community Clinic and the Saskatchewan Health Authority. Sarah is passionate about helping people through nutrition, and has special interests in food security, chronic disease prevention and management, perinatal nutrition, and digestive conditions. In her spare time, you can often find Sarah making good food, puttering in her garden, or spending time with her husband and dog.
