Harley Sinclair is a contemporary Indigenous artist whose work redefines the boundaries of modern abstraction. A member of the Peepeekisis Cree Nation in Treaty 4 Territory, Sinclair was born in Lethbridge, Alberta (1988) and raised in southern Saskatchewan, where the vast prairies and shifting skies became the foundation of his artistic language.
Rooted in personal history and cultural resonance, Sinclair’s practice is an exploration of memory, resilience, and identity. About Sean Bougie
Sean Bougie is an Indigenous (Montreal Lake Cree Nation) classical guitarist from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan who has been playing for over 20 years. This long history with the instrument has allowed Sean to curate an interesting collection of classical guitar repertoire to perform at various festivals, private events, and community gatherings around Western Canada. Sean's performances make jaws drop, hearts flutter, and minds wander. His music inspires a sense of nostalgia and captivates the listener's soul. Celebrate National Day for Truth and Reconciliation with keynote Nelson Bird, cultural performances, and opportunities to learn, reflect, and support reconciliation.
Additional Information:
Join us for an inspiring event led by keynote speaker Nelson Bird, a respected journalist, educator, and member of the Peepeekisis Cree Nation. In his presentation, “Truth, Reconciliation, and the Media – Nelson Bird’s Experiences”, he will reflect on the meaning of Truth and Reconciliation / Orange Shirt Day from his personal perspective, sharing observations he has witnessed throughout his life.
This special gathering will also feature an opening blessing, greetings from RPL leadership, a powerful drum honour song, and a vibrant jingle dance performance, followed by bannock and tea with the community.
This event is held in honour of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Part of Culture Days programming, thanks to funding from SaskCulture through the support of SaskLotteries.

Jodi Robson is a proud member of the Okanese First Nation in Treaty Four Territory. She is of Cree and Nakoda heritage. Thanks to her successful run as a finalist in season 3 of CBC's The Great Canadian Baking Show, Jodi was able to showcase her culture and culinary skills nationwide. During the season 5 Holiday Special, she was once again able to share her passion for baking and the inspiration derived from her family and life as an Indigenous woman.
Jodi resides in Regina, with her partner and their two children. Together, they enjoy the outdoors while camping, hiking, and foraging year-round.
